8 Chairs in Search of a Métaphore

A metaphor is a comparison searching for true meaning and, as such, we were striving to find a comparison to these apparently meaningless, old chairs (1940's) that would restore to them their lost, proper meaning. The result of that search is what you see here.

We would like to think that, voila, they found themselves, albeit in another parallel.

Scarves in Paris

… as the woman was crossing the Seine, by way of the Passerelle, she stopped to gaze at the river’s eternal waters, while Paris’ morning breezes flapped at her Sara Palacios’ scarf. Thereafter, as if by magic, woman and undulating scarf, melded with the cherry blossom scents and spring colors of the City of Lights…
